Product Description: Cationic reagent/CATIONIC AGENT (QUAT 188,CHPTAC) are mainly produced by synthesis and are used for manufacturing cationic modified starch. Cationic etherifying agents are the main raw materials for making cationic guar gum, which is commonly used in textile chemicals. Cationic starch is a very important class of modified starches for industrial use. Therefore, cationic etherifying agents can be widely applied in numerous fields such as the papermaking industry, textile industry, daily chemical industry, water treatment industry, and petroleum industry.
Product Appearance and Characteristics: Cationic reagent is usually a colorless and transparent liquid. The product can be stored for prolonged periods (1-2 years) with practically no loss of activity. It is stable at temperatures of up to 50 °C. At higher temperatures, the pH may be slightly reduced over time. However, this does not affect the application properties of the product.
